Oatmeal Mask
If you are looking to save a few bucks, an at-home facial mask is a great way to indulge in good skin care habits. For a good at home facial mask, look no further than your pantry. Oatmeal is one of the most nourishing products for your skin. It soothes irritated skin, exfoliates and is readily found in a number of commercial face mask products. A finely milled oatmeal is best, though most any brand will do. For a basic at home facial mask, take three teaspoons of oatmeal and add warm water to the mix gradually. Mix well until a smooth paste forms. You can also add honey or yogurt for added nourishment.
In a blender, combine 2 tablespoons plain yogurt and 2 tablespoons honey, and pulse until fully combined.
Add 1/4 cup mixed berries, pureeing until smooth, then add 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
Using your hands, apply mixture to a clean, dry face. Let mask sit 10 to 15 minutes, then rinse face thoroughly with warm water and pat dry.
