Permanent cosmetic makeup is a state of the art form of cosmetic tattooing. The specialized techniques used for permanent cosmetics are often referred to as “micro pigmentation”, “micro pigment implantation” or “Dermagraphics”.
Permanent cosmetic pigment is implanted into the skin by a manual hand tool or with a permanent cosmetic machine allowing pigment to penetrate deeper into the skin-known as the dermal layer. Micropigmentation may only need to be re-touched every 2 to 5 years, sometimes longer. This procedure is used for eyeliner, lips and powder effect brows.
Microblading, also known as microstroking, is an advanced technique whereby a superfine row of needles is used to create thin, hair like marks on the skin that mimic one’s own hair growth pattern while implanting pigment simultaneously. The result is a very natural looking brow which last up to 18 months.
Microblading is ideal for creating a very full and realistic looking brow and is great for clients with thin brows and like to have a full and thicker look, or those with no brows due to over tweezing, alopecia, chemotherapy, and etc…
